I view my life as two separate eras; pre-Colette and post-Colette.

Pre Colette - I was self-conscious and procrastinating, an unhappy workaholic who was so tense that I wasn’t breathing, sleeping or eating properly.

Post Colette – My mind and body is far more relaxed, and I’m more self-confident. I find that I’m doing more work with less effort. I am less self-conscious; my sense of humour is returning and am generally in a much brighter and happier place.

The Journey – outwardly, the technique Colette uses appears to be little more than a relaxed and friendly chat over a cup of tea. Lying beneath that, Colette must be employing some very effective techniques, judging by the profound change in my demeanour and outlook on life during the time I’ve been working with her. I don’t want to analyse things too much (a further movement away from my old self), I am merely content to wallow in the results.

Her personal support and coaching have guided me throughout my leadership career in primary education, enabling me to develop as a school leader, enhancing my vision, my leadership skills and strategies, while also evolving the values that have sat at the heart of the schools in which I have worked and led. With her support I have been able to celebrate the successes and, more importantly, manage the huge challenges of school leadership with much greater confidence and self-belief.

Colette has also provided extremely effective leadership coaching for my leadership teams. This has contributed to the development of a strong, focused leadership group enhancing their individual skills and the team's cumulative impact, taking our school through many challenging periods of improvement, including conversion to academy status and achieving successful Ofsted and pupil outcomes.

I am in charge. All the thorny issues finish on my desk. It was wearing. After a few sessions with Colette, I sort problems without huge cost to me. Best of all, she showed me how to relax and find my inner strength. What a difference she made to my life.

Teenagers by definition can be difficult. When they are riddled with self-doubt, they can be impossible. I don’t know how Colette did it, but my daughter talks to me properly now. She has regained her confidence and is doing all I expect for her to succeed in her exams this year.

My job is dangerous. It kills if I am not careful. The strain of daily performance was grinding me down. I phone Colette from wherever I am performing in the world. When I am in the UK, I visit her. Her words are like magic in healing me and rebuilding my confidence.

I kept my anxieties hidden. My bad memories had done too much damage. I thought it was just me. Colette showed me how to deal with memories and how to find healing. My friends wonder why I am such a different person. I was lucky I took that step to meet someone like Colette.

I was introduced to Colette in January 2023. I had been feeling depressed and anxious for a long time. My mood was not lifting at all.

After receiving six sessions with Colette, my life has been transformed. From spending weeks staying in at home and not wanting to do anything or to be with anyone, my mood has lifted, my confidence has returned, and now I am enjoying an active life once again.

Finding Colette and accessing her life coaching sessions has had the most profound impact on the direction my life has taken, both personally and professionally. Changing negative thought patterns and building my self confidence and self belief has directly improved my outlook on life, along with my ability to manage challenging situations in the workplace and in my personal life.
